Ocean Cruise Planning
Choosing a cruise can feel overwhelming. Every cruise line looks great online, but they are not the same in real life. Ships vary. Dining varies. Kids' clubs vary. The vibe, the entertainment, even the stateroom layouts all change by brand and ship.
That’s where we come in.
Our team has sailed on and works with all major cruise lines — including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian, Princess, Holland America, Carnival, Virgin Voyages, and Disney Cruise Line. We help you make sense of the differences so you don’t end up on a ship that doesn’t match your style.

Why Book a Cruise with Magic Expeditions?
- We listen. We want to chat with you about your vision for the trip so we can make specific recommendations. No one brand is perfect for everyone, so we work to match our clients to their ideal cruise vacation.
- We have cruising experience. It is tempting to "crowd-source" for recommendations and advice when planning a trip, but we can give you all of the insider information we have learned over the years planning for not only ourselves, but all sorts of families and dynamics!
- We help with logistics. Things can be complicated, especially if you are planning a big family trip. We work with families (including multi-generational families) on big trips all year, so we know what to watch for and how to get everyone from point A to B.
FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions about Cruising
Do you charge a fee for cruise planning?
No. Most cruise planning is included when you book your cruise with us. If anything requires a fee, we tell you up front.
Do you work with all cruise lines?
Yes, we work with all major cruise lines - including expedition cruises!
Can you help with groups?
Absolutely. We work with multigenerational families, friend groups, clubs, corporate incentive groups, and more. Each cruise line has different policies regarding groups, so we can give you the specifics to see if an official group cruise makes sense for your situation.
How early should we book a cruise?
As soon as possible. For the best staterooms and prices, at least 6-12 months in advance is ideal. When you are looking at Alaska, International, or holiday sailings, we recommend even longer. We can usually find a solution last-minute if needed, but for the best options and pricing, book as far out as possible. Cruise pricing is dynamic.
