Hello, I'm Katie D.

I’ve always loved Disney, but my magical mania kicked into full gear when I became a Cast Member at Walt Disney World in the summer of 1999.  I loved that summer so much that I came back to Disney the following fall on the Disney College Program, where I earned my Ducktorate from Disney. I was lucky enough to continue my employment with Disney after moving back home as a Disney College Program Campus Representative, helping other young Disney-obsessed college students become cast members.  My love for the magic has blossomed now that I get to see Disney through the eyes of my two children, Dominic and Amina. Whether you’re looking for a Deluxe Disney Dream Getaway or you’re looking for ways to save at the Parks, I happy to share all my secrets and I look forward to planning your recess from reality.

My favorite Walt Disney World restaurant:  Ohana and Boma are both on my favorites list. But my favorite food is a hot dog from Casey’s Corner on Main Street.
My insider tip:  Disney Photopass Cast Members will take multiple pictures of your family - so don't be bashful!  Get in front of the lens!
My favorite Disney character:  Mary Poppins
The first thing I do when I arrive at Disney is:  I love to start our trips with a character dining reservation with Mickey Mouse!  It is a great arrival day activity to get you ready for all the theme park excitement that is to come!

We decided very last minute to take this trip, and I knew that I wasn't going to be able to achieve my standard level of research. I really needed  suggestions and tips on a short timeline!  She was fantastic - all of her suggestions really worked with our style of travel, and I appreciated her working hard to get us Lightning Lane reservations when the system crashed our second morning!  It was comforting to know someone else was a quick text away.

Katie took care of so many things for me that would have taken me a lot of time to figure out - she booked a character breakfast, organized the van drop-off, stroller rental, etc. and walked me through the app. It felt like there was a second "me" working on the planning which was very much needed given the tight timeline!
