Where can I see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter?

​The Wizarding World of Harry Potter spans two theme parks at Universal Orlando Resort.  

​There are two distinct areas to explore: Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida and Hogsmeade in Universal’s Islands of Adventure.  (And best of all, the Hogwarts Express train connects them!)

There are so many things to see, treats to taste, and rides to experience within these two lands.
 
Diagon Alley (Universal Studios)
The can’t-miss ride in Diagon Alley is Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts!  You can’t miss it – look for the fire-breathing dragon perched on top of the ride.  Hang on as you race through the dangerous underground vaults at Gringotts Bank!

For a quick bite to eat, stop in the Leaky Cauldron. You will find British favorites like Bangers & Mash or Fish & Chips, and of course, Butterbeer! 

Hogsmeade (Islands of Adventure)
Over on the Hogsmeade side, there are several experiences to prioritize! 

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is a thrilling ride through the Forbidden Forest where you will find rare creatures and stunning surprises!

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey will take you inside the castle where you get a taste of flight and a chance to explore the halls of Hogwarts like never before!

For a fun family ride, don’t miss Flight of the Hippogriff!  Take a peek inside Hagrid’s hut and hang on as you are whisked around the nearby pumpkin patch!

You’ll definitely want to grab a Pumpkin Juice, Butterbeer, and some food at Three Broomsticks while in Hogsmeade. 
 
Bring your robes and wands!
Don’t forget to pack your robes and wands!  Dressing up is encouraged!

If you don’t have a wand yet, you can swing by Ollivanders.  You will find Ollivanders Wand Shop in either land, and you can purchase an Interactive Wand to create your own magic throughout the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

You may also witness a unique experience and see a wand choose a wizard! 
 
Good to Know
You will need to have a Park-to-Park ticket to explore all the Wizarding World of Harry Potter has to offer.  You can only ride the Hogwarts Express between the two lands if you have this type of ticket. 

Depending on the dates of your visit, we may recommend adding the Universal Express Pass Unlimited to your tickets.  This pass allows you to skip the regular standby queue and hop in the faster Express Pass queue at most rides.  You also may be entitled to this for free if you stay at one of the Premier hotels at Universal Orlando Resort. 

It's also important to note that you can also experience the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Hollywood in California.  This Wizarding World is a bit smaller and does not have all of the experiences outlined at Universal Orlando.
