 There are over two dozen Disney resort hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection at Walt Disney World! These are just the “on-property” options! We know that all of the choices available can lead you to feel overwhelmed and confused. Let’s break it down! With so many accommodations available, there is a perfect match for everyone – from budget-conscious to luxury travelers. There are four main categories to consider when deciding where to stay for your Walt Disney World Resort visit: Value, Moderate, Deluxe, Deluxe Villa.
Value Resorts These Resort hotels will have the lowest nightly rates compared to others in Disney Resorts Collection. They will have smaller room sizes than Moderate or Deluxe options and will be a bit further from the theme parks. All Value Resorts will still offer clean rooms, incredible Disney service, transportation to/from the theme parks, swimming pools, and on-site quick-service dining options.
Moderate Resorts Moving up a level to the Moderate Resorts, you can expect larger rooms, more amenities, additional dining options, and a quieter resort atmosphere. Many of these resorts are located closer to the theme parks, so you will likely have less travel time. One feature kids (and kids-at-heart!) will love is Moderate Resort pools will have waterslides!
Deluxe Resorts Staying at a Deluxe Resort will offer you the largest room size, more amenities, fantastic restaurants (sometimes with Character Dining!), incredible theming, and closest proximity to theme parks. Some are so close to theme parks, you could even walk from your resort to the entrance.
Deluxe Villa Resorts These villas are often connected to or nearby the Deluxe Resort hotels. They offer accommodations that may include kitchens, 1-3 bedrooms, and living room spaces.
