My first Disney experience was a visit to Disneyland in California when I was just 8 years old. I remember falling in love with Splash Mountain and riding it over and over! I think this is when I fell in love with traveling and seeing new places.
As a parent, vacations have new magic. I will never forget my children’s faces when they took their first ride on Dumbo or stepped in the ocean for the first time.
My favorite things (besides travel!) include reading, the color purple, cheesecake, and swimming. You should also know that I'm a little "Type A," but that usually works in my favor with detailed vacation planning.
As a Midwest native, wife, and mom of two wonderful kids, I understand the demands of balancing family, work, and leisure. I believe that everyone deserves a stress-free vacation, and I'm here to make that happen. Client ReviewsWe visited Disney (Orlando) and used Magic Expeditions to plan the entire trip. Alison was extremely helpful in both setting up our trip and providing guidance on what to visit/see each day for all the parks. We hit Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios each 1 day and Magic Kingdom 3 days (grandkids age 5 and 3). Alison set us up with great restaurants in each park for our table service and made great recommendations for quick serves and snacks as well. We had two separate rooms since my daughter's family went as well, and Alison worked to get our rooms next to each other and the location was perfect...very near a bus stop. Alison works to get you the best deal and I can't recommend her enough to make a very complex/intimidating process so simple. She even produced a daily guide for us with things to do while in the park...which we constantly referred to and it was outstanding. My 5-year of grandson's favorite part of the trip was Jedi training in Hollywood Studios....which Alison recommended and told us where to go 1st thing since the registration fills up so quickly.....it was a major success! We'll likely plan another trip in a few years and we will definitely use Alison again.
